Ghana were held to a goalless draw on Saturday by the Cranes of Uganda on Saturday at the Nelson Mandela Sports Stadium.

Egypt will face off against Congo on Sunday and a defeat for Egypt will bring Ghana back to the race for a place in Russia and this is how it can happen.

A win for Egypt on Sunday will take them to 12 points and eventually confirm their place in Russia and a draw will automatically kick Ghana out of the race since they will go 10pts,  but Uganda’s hopes will still be alive, but a home defeat will mean that both Ghana and Uganda can still qualify ahead of the last day tie in November and this is how the table will like if the Pharaohs lose all the three points at home on Sunday October 8 in Alexandria.
